Feeding Guide

For best results introduce RIVERINA TOP DOG® PREMIUM gradually over 7 to 10 days.
Feed regularly at the same time each day.
If your dog has been accustomed to canned food, it may take some time before dry food is comfortably accepted.

The above recommendations are a guide only and should be adjusted to suit your dog’s age, weight, breed, and activity level.

PREGNANT DOGS

Maintain normal feeding during the first 6 weeks. Gradually increase serving size to approximately double the normal feeding rate during the final 3 weeks of pregnancy. Supplement with whole milk if possible.

NURSING DOGS

The dog is feeding herself and her pups, increase her RIVERINA TOP DOG® PREMIUM intake by approximately 3 times her normal amount, depending on the size of the litter. Supplement with whole milk if possible.

WORKING DOG

Require 1.5 to 2 times more feed than less active dogs. Adjust the feeding rate so your dog maintains a healthy weight.
