Riverina Australia has implemented a range of standard procedures across all workplaces. These procedures are designed to:
- Improve the health and safety of all employees and visitors to those workplaces
- Maintain the highest level of quality in the stock and poultry feed produced
- Minimise or completely eliminate any detrimental effect Riverina’s operations may have on the environment
The safety of all persons involved with Riverina, the quality of product that leaves the Riverina mill and the state of the environment in locations where Riverina has manufacturing or processing operations are three factors of paramount concern to the company.
Riverina has all its manufacturing sites accredited to “Feed Safe” which assures the manufacture of stockfeed to the highest quality. The Department of Environment has also accredited all Riverina sites with operating licences under the Environmental Protection Act of 1994.
"Because of its efforts in the area of Workplace Health and Safety, the company enjoys an excellent relationship with the Queensland Division of Workplace Health and Safety."
