Our July 2023 Recap

As a proud Ruby Sponsor, we attended the Hereford Queensland Youth Association’s Annual Youth Show at the Dalby Showgrounds.

Our very own, Tony Grob, hosted talks on the importance of feeding and nutrition throughout the Friday; providing direction on balancing protein, energy, and vitamins and minerals in raw materials to suit your herd and operation.

He had a lot of fun discussing animal nutrition with the groups and raffling off the Truegraz Tub!

Despite the wet weather, our Territory Sales Manager, Wayne Crompton, had a great time seeing the fantastic horsemanship on display at the Pony Club Queensland State Dressage, Combined Training, and Horse Trials Championships this month.

Our Young team’s Matt and Claire supported the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days, hosting a competition for attendees to win ten bags of our XLR8 Hi Energy Pellets. More importantly, we have another picture of Matt holding a chicken to add to the ever-growing repertoire.

You may have even noticed Riverina customers, Chantal and Anthony Winter from Macquarie Downs Feedlot, in the event program!

Samford Show

With the 2022 show postponed due to bad weather, this year’s Samford Show was a great success!

Our team proudly sponsored the Cattle, Horse, and Poultry sections over the two days; suppling XLR8 Pellets, and a range of horse and poultry feeds respectively.

Stanthorpe Poultry Club Show

We saw a great display of hard and soft feather along with water fowl breeds presented at the Stanthorpe Poultry Club Show from exhibitors from all around the region.

EKKA Paddock to Palate Competition

Our team attended the lamb carcass processing for the 2023 RNA Paddock to Palate Competition at Astons Butchery, Milmerran.

While the main presentations occur on EKKA weekend, it was great to support the numerous customers competing and see how their Riverina feed has contributed to ADG and carcass quality. We can’t wait to see the results!

2023 Southern Downs Ag Inspirations

Students from local schools taking part in this year's AgForce School to Industry Partnership Program visited our Warwick mill to learn about the countless career opportunities in ag.

Our Nutritionists, Cameron Wright and Reza Tahmasbi, explained the importance of animal nutrition for a wide range of animals and Territory Sales Manager, Tony Grob, showed the group around the mill, providing a ‘behind the scenes’ look into stock feed.

It was a pleasure to host the next generation of ag professionals. We were very impressed by their engagement and interest throughout the tour.
