Meet the Team | Michael Keleher

Chances are, you’ll find our Territory Sales Manager Michael Keleher travelling throughout the Sunshine State maintaining and building on the relationships he’s built during his career with Riverina Stockfeeds. 

Michael covers a sizeable area in Queensland, looking after customers at the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Fraser Coast Hinterland, Rockhampton, as well as southwest, central and northern Queensland communities. 

Being born and bred in the Toowoomba Region, Michael is no stranger to the farming lifestyle, having grown up on his parents’ small cropping farm at Felton.

“After I finished school in Toowoomba, I moved to Brisbane where my wife and I purchased and operated several franchises for a number of years,” he said. 

“It was a great experience being a small business owner, learning to manage a business and staff, but it was time for us to close that chapter and start our next venture.” 

After selling the business, Michael and his family would move back to Toowoomba where he would go on to start his career with Riverina Stockfeeds.   

“One thing I enjoy about my role is building relationships with our existing and new customers. Having been a small business owner myself, I understand a lot of our customers who own and operate their own businesses and the challenges they face,” Michael said. 

“We cater to a variety of customers from corporate entities right down to hobby farmers, and being interested in their lives beyond doing business goes a long way with them.

“My career with Riverina Stockfeeds has been a rewarding experience, being able to meet the fantastic people throughout Queensland and help them find the right nutritional answer to meet their feed requirement.”

Riverina Stockfeeds was established in 1927 in the Riverina District of NSW and has been manufacturing and providing Australia and international countries with high-quality dry stock feeds, grain mixes, and liquid supplements.
